My Bee Loop Honey Pot arrived leaking honey - why is that? Bee Loop Honey Pot is a handmade object and the closing technology is done by hand. In one of 100 cases the leaking can happen - if that is the case, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a new item.
BEE LOOP HONEY POT
Is Bee Loop Honey Pot fragile? The pot is firm enough to hold its shape and store honey - nevertheless, as with everything, it will break if more pressure is applied, especially in freezing temperatures. Please handle with care just like glass containers and transport it safely packed.
The pot has a thin line on the side - is it broken? If the pot arrived safetly and is not leaking honey, it's not broken. Each container is handcrafted and can have natural imperfections. The thin line on the side of the pot is marks from the production moulds that do not affect the quality of the pot.
The pot has white powder-like texture on it. What is it? The white powder on the beeswax container is a natural oil that keeps the wax from getting bad or rot. It is called bloom - a natural process of the oils rising to the surface.
Are Bee Loop Honey Pots dishwasher-safe? No. Beeswax melting temperature is around 65°C so do not put it in a dishwasher. The pot can be washed by hands with a warm water.
Are Bee Loop Honey Pots microwafe-safe? No. Beeswax melting temperature is around 65°C so do not put it in a microwafe.
How should I store Bee Loop Honey Pot? It should be stored in a room temperature and away from a direct sunlight. At the higher temperatures, the wax can feel sticky and softer but it will not affect the quality of wax or honey.
It's really hot where I live and the container feels sticky. Won't it melt? At the higher temperatures, the wax can feel sticky and softer but it will not affect the quality of wax or honey. Try storing it away from a direct sunlight, in a cabinet.
